Ring of Honor Ceremony
After welcoming Ernie McCray to the Ring of Honor in McKale Center in a virtual ceremony last month, the Arizona Basketball legend himself penned a heartfelt essay for one of his hometown publications in San Diego on what this distinction meant to him. Ernie’s impact on our basketball program, athletics department and university cannot be understated as his legacy now hangs from the rafters of our storied venue. It will be a momentous occasion to pay tribute to Ernie and Al Fleming again next season when we plan on an official, in-person celebration, in McKale Center. Click here to read Ernie’s essay.
