Heritage Sports Reunion
September 15-16, 2023
Last weekend we had the pleasure of hosting the University of Arizona’s Heritage Sports Reunion. We had letterwinners from our heritage sports: Wrestling, Synchronized Swimming, Field Hockey, Badminton, Rifle, Men’s Gymnastics, and Water Polo! Thank you to everyone who attended, found their way back home, and shared their little piece of UArizona history with us! BearDown for Life!
Extra Yard for Teachers
This month at our (winning!) home football game versus UTEP we celebrated our Letterwinners turned Educators with our Extra Yard for Teachers Big Day on field recognition. This year's winners, Marcus Benjamin (football ‘09-‘11), Orlando Rodriquez (football ‘98-‘99), Kaity Harris (soccer ‘04-‘08), and William Golden (‘00-‘02) received $1,650 to put towards their classrooms from the CFP Foundation. One additional Letterwinner, Leslee Briggs (track and field ‘89-‘92) received a $1000 gift card from DonorsChoose.org to put towards her classroom. We loved recognizing our amazing Letterwinners and we thank them for all they do for the next generation! Congratulations Educators and Bear Down For Life!
Homecoming 2023:
Save the Date- November 4, 2023
Attention all Arizona Letterwinners! Mark your calendar for Saturday, November 4, for the A-Club Letterwinners Homecoming Tailgate and Football Game experience. All Letterwinners will receive 2 complimentary tickets to the A-Club Letterwinners Tailgate and up to 2 complimentary tickets to the Arizona vs. UCLA football game in the designated Letterwinners section.
RSVP for A-Club Homecoming closes October 23, 2023.
Additional tailgate tickets are available to purchase for $23 per person. Each ticket includes a meal and two beverage tickets.

The A-Club was so excited to see Football Letterwinner Randy Robbins join us as Honorary Captain for Game 2 vs. UTEP. The Cats ended up with a win, beating NAU 31-10.
We also loved having Football Letterwinners Chris and Kevin Singleton back as our honorary captains last week for our Family Weekend game vs WASH!

Wildcat Remembrance
The A-Club is deeply saddened to hear the recent news of the passing of our fellow Wildcats. Our thoughts go out to their family, friends and teammates.

2023 SPORTS HALL OF FAME CLASS
Six outstanding athletes, one of the department's all-time winningest coaches, and a dedicated former administrator will be honored with induction into the Arizona Sports Hall of Fame, Arizona Athletics announced today. The eight-member class of 2023 includes All-Americans, Olympic medalists, all-time greats in professional sports, and more.
