Alamo Bowl Win
Letterwinners, the Valero Alamo Bowl was the highest attended bowl game, out of 35 games, at 56,000 attendees! Thank you for coming in record breaking numbers to San Antonio to support our Wildcats. We also want to thank those who watched at home as 4 million viewers tuned in for the Alamo Bowl on ESPN!
CALLING ALL ARIZONA BASEBALL LETTERWINNERS:
Block your calendars and pack your bags, the date for the 2024 Arizona Baseball Alumni weekend is set for February 9-10. Baseball Alumni Weekend 2024 is open to former student-athletes, managers, support staff, and coaches that contributed to Arizona Baseball. Like Coach Hale, we're so excited to welcome you back home for Alumni Weekend.
Join us in welcoming Arizona Football's new Head Coach Brent Brennan!
On January 16th, we welcomed back Arizona's new Head Football Coach Brent Brennan to the UA campus. Brennan, 50, is an experienced leader in college football who enjoyed two stints coaching under legendary Arizona head coach Dick Tomey, the winningest coach in program history. The San Jose native first learned under Tomey with the Wildcats in 2000 as a graduate assistant and again from 2005-09 at SJSU as an assistant coach. The ties between Brennan and Tomey run deep, with Brent's brother Bradley being an Arizona Football Letterwinner, playing five years under Tomey in Tucson.
Men's Basketball Ring of Honor
Arizona men's basketball has announced that three former players will have their official Ring of Honor induction ceremonies at various home games during the 2023-24 season. The induction dates and games are as follows:
- Jan. 20 vs. UCLA - Bennedict Mathurin
- Feb. 17 vs. Arizona State - Christian Koloko
- March 2 vs. Oregon - Kenny Lofton
Congratulations to Bennedict Mathurin for his recognition into the Arizona Men's Basketball Ring of Honor!
Wildcat Remembrance
The A-Club is deeply saddened to hear the recent news of the passing of our fellow Wildcats. Our thoughts go out to their family, friends and teammates.
